Accessorize to the Fullest

It's funny how the simple act of adding a trinket, a bauble, something eye catching, sparkly, and colorful can change the entire attitude of a look. Women have been adoring themselves with shiny "tings" for thousands of years.
Some of our first memories of fashion are going into our mother's closets, wardrobes, and jewelry boxes layering the most beautiful baubles on our tiny wrists and necks. Stepping our tiny little feet into a pair of those sky-high heels that made our mothers look as if they themselves were the next JET beauty of the week, IYKYK.
In my minds eye I can still see all the beautiful accessories of my mother's that I used to play in. To this very day as I compose this blog post my mother still has the most amazing collection of beautiful baubles.
As fall approaches accessories are one thing that can add a little pizzazz to our outfits. While making the transition into cooler weather fashions they add that extra oomph keeping us looking put together and chic.
THE STATEMENT EARRING
These beauties were custom made for me over 10 years ago by @julesjewels55 over on Instagram. They are bold and timeless.

THE SUN VISOR
While you may think that this is strictly for the summer months, I beg to differ. During fall we spend a great deal of time out and about. Those brisk walks with our Pumpkin Spiced Lattes in hand, sitting on the sidelines at our children's sporting events. What better and stylish way to block those UV rays than a chic sun visor. They are a great alternative to sunnies. This one is the Kitty Lux - Rose Gold by Bluestone Sunshields.
THE TINY BAG (ENERGY) #TBE
Now not everyone can get into the Tiny Bag but IYKYK. I am for sure #teamtbe. They are one of my newly favoritest accessories. While they are not that functional they do sever a huge dose of fashion face. Get into it! The Kurt Geiger Micro Kensington this one was so nice I had to buy it twice.
Now this little cutie is from Walmart Fashion, yes girl do not sleep on Walmart! The brand is Scoop. A few of you may remember the Scoop stores, they were a treasure trove of contemporary fashion brands. It was a sad day when the stores went out of business, so I am happy to see the brand return at Walmart and I must say they are doing their thang.
THE HEADBAND
A good headband can give a basic pony or slick back bun a whole new life. The headband is one of the most underrated accessories in my opinion. I feel as if women think wearing a headband is giving juvenile 5th grade girl. You just have to find the right one. One of my recent finds is the Lovisa Rose Gold Metal Flower Crown Headband and as you can see she is giving everything except 5th grade juvenile. I've linked a few below check them out.
THE CHOKER
This is a perfect example of fashion coming back around. In the 90's the choker was a thing. If you grew up in the 90's then the chances are you wore a choker at some point. I always kept a few in my accessories arsenal like the one pictured here. I am glad the choker has made its return. There are so many cool options to choose from, check out a few cool pieces that I have linked below.
These are the accessories I will be taking into the fall season. Yes I know, I did not mention sunnies. I wanted to highlight a few options that I have been enjoying this summer that maybe you may not think of right off the bat. I will say this... I am having a ball accessorizing to the fullest!
